Art Hound

These paintings are from the series nl (which stands for naked lunch, a reference to dejeuner paintings such as Le déjeuner sur l’herbe) by West Coast artist Mattthew Weston Taylor. I am honored to be hosting a show of six of these paintings  on Art Hound’s sister site, Buy Some Damn Art. I absolutely love how these paintings float in and out of focus. At a distance they look totally abstract but closer up you begin to see figures and landscapes.
