Ignacio Canales Aracil creates gravity-defying sculpture made of pressed and dried flowers.
About these four pieces the artist says, “Last summer I traveled to England and The Netherlands in order to collect flowers from gardens of outstanding designers, such as Pam Lewis, Piet Oudolf and Mien Ruys.”

yeah, hard to believe but it is! not sure how the artist puts them together or how long they last.

i think of papier-mache as being the small-scale stuff that little kids make but yes, that seems about right!
