I discovered the whimsical work of Ricardo Cavolo on Where The Lovely Things Are, which I’ve decided is my new favorite blog. Cavolo’s work has the charm, imagination and innocence of a young boy on a wild adventure, and his figures are adorned with exaggerated boyish, rosy cheeks. He perfectly captures the sense of adventure and possibility that happily brings us back to our 8 year-old selves.
