Rachel Kaye recently had a show with her partner Jay Nelson (who works in wood) at Johansson Projects in Oakland. The work is fresh, fun yet thoughtful. Lest the work come off a bit light, Kaye’s work in colored pencils, more so than the work featured here, reveals patience and technicality.
