Artist, Emily Klima introduced me to the work of Jenny Keith-Hughes whose show, Love and Squalor, is at the Prince George Ballroom in NYC through Nov. 29th. I’m particularly fond of Jenny’s animal paintings which are ambiguously narrative and both realist and whimsical. Keith-Hughes works in acrylic and beeswax, which gives her work a rich and unusual appearance.
