I saw Karin Bubas’ series With Friends Like These on The Jealous Curator and couldn’t help but a) blog about the series (of portraits from the cast of The Hills) and b) create imaginary dialogue between the characters. Enjoy!

“Spencer Pratt is the devil.”                                                        “OMG I know!” Sobs. 

“Nice toes!” Buuuuuuuuurp.                                                      “Gross!”

                              “Is she seriously trying to call me when I’m sitting right here?”

“Don’t be sad… DUDE, that Asian chick by the bar is HOT!”

“You are one selfish, spoiled bitch of a sister. Oh, I forgot. You’re also dumb as shit”

I love art that pokes fun of people which I really hope doesn’t make me a crappy person. Either way, Leslie Wood’s drawings are awesome and gave me a good chuckle. Maybe it’s a New York thing (Wood is Brooklyn-based) – we all live in a city with so many strange people that we’ve literally seen it all.
