Works on paper by Brooklyn artist Laurel Sparks. These gridded and heavily-intersected pieces are quite cool… some are all about geometry and hard lines, others incorporate a melange of shapes and patterns for an almost Art Deco vibe. Klimt certainly comes to mind with the last piece.

Laurel is great! When I was in school in Boston she taught an independent critique and was always very helpful and kind.
