As soon as I saw these paintings by Alexandra Levasseur on BOOOOOOOM I knew I had to feature them. There are so many wonderful features in Levasseur’s work – the lush floral prints, the color teal, and themes of heat/fire vs. water.

These remind me somewhat of Klimt, the beautiful floral backgrounds that could be both inside our outside. Beautiful work.
