Esther Pearl Watson is a great artist with an equally great name. Her work is supposedly inspired by the stuff of her unconventional childhood – broken-down cars, junk-cluttered Texan homesteads, and sparkly flying saucers.

Ok those are excellent. She captures real movement with those little people. Great active poses.

Love this work! I first saw her paintings at the LA Paint show, presented by Oakland Museum in 2009. These pieces conjure that magical evening time in which the appearance of a fantastically sparkling “Lady Saucer” is entirely plausible!
