Bella Foster’s work, which is a bit stylistically anachronistic, is one part modern and three parts nostalgia. I can’t help but think of Matisse and the Fauves when it comes to Foster. The Brooklyn-based artist, who is a favorite of Kate Spade herself, has an incredible talent for capturing the beauty in the everyday life, in the still-lifes of the home.

wow, I love this. Although it isn’t new, it brings back a very refreshing feeling from what I’ve been seeing lately.
