I stumbled across Jeanna Sohn on flickr and then discovered her gorgeous paintings at Culver City gallery, Taylor DeCordova. Isn’t the internet the greatest when this kind of thing happens? I just can’t believe I haven’t come across her work bef0re, which, by the way, reminds me of Dan-ah Kim, Katy Horan, Betsy Walton and Linda Kim – some of my favorite artists. Yup, I’m smitten!

Loved the closet visit. So great to see soemone in my age range. I even wrote and asked what brand jeans she wears, as I’m always on the lookout for the right ones for my age ( not too low a rise, but not matronly) Will be following her blog now too. And I love, love her name – just saying it puts me in a good mood!

Heather – Thanks for the pashmina seoiustggn on your mom’s blog. I realize I have forgotten how beautiful “real” ones can be – for awhile it’s been “pashmina” = “NYC street vendor” – not a great image. Will be on the lookout for a special one. Your mom seems lovely, as do you. Have a very Happy Christmas!
