ArtExtend is an innovative new online gallery exclusively selling work by artists from the developing world. Check it out if you have any interest in development or international art! Founders David Rodriguez and Daniel Anderson spent time abroad and seized the opportunity to expose talented local artists to the U.S. and beyond. Their roster of artists is hand-picked by the founders and includes artists from Mozambique, Peru and Kenya.

ArtExtend’s business practices are intended to benefit the artists, such as purchasing the art upfront, and the company also donates 10% of proceeds to local arts education. It’s inspiring to see ambitious people pushing the limits of the existing art market. I look forward to seeing what these guys do with this progressive idea!

I was equally inspired by the innovativeness and altruism of this online gallery. ArtExtend.com has the foresight to make a difference by giving artists from third world countires a global portal to showcase their talents. I recently purchased a painting by Maketo and love it!Kudos to David Rodriguez and Daniel Anderson.
