I recently learned about RxArt, a non-profit whose mission is to bring contemporary art to healthcare institutions. Yes, that’s right… they exhibit contemporary art in hospitals! How cool is that?
.
Aside from donations, RxArt also funds its projects from the sale of Between the Lines, Volume I and II, a coloring book with work by major contemporary artists including Ryan McGinness, Takashi Murakami, Terence Koh, Ed Ruscha and Kehinde Wiley. Between the Lines is available online.
.
Inside Between the Lines, Volume I: John Lurie (below top) and John Wesley (below bottom).
