Christine Kesler Print Giveaway!

Thursday, January 21, 2010 · 18 Comments

UPDATE: Congrats to the winner of our Christine Kesler print giveaway, gretchenmist!

Holy smokes! This is Art Hound’s 100th post and to mark the occasion we’re giving away a Christine Kesler limited edition print courtesy of Little Paper Planes.

Christine is a Bay area artist whose installation work combines painting, drawing and paper sculpture. Her cerebral process involves reusing her own materials as well as found objects, adding layers of complexity. Writing and poetry also play a significant role in Kesler’s art.

To win Christine’s print (top left), leave a comment. The winner will be notified via email in one week!

(Please be patient as I have to approve each comment before it posts. Thx!)

christine kesler inspires me. daily. it has been ages since we were able to HUGGGG each other, but her works-on-paper reach my head/heart from any distance.

my own shape-play work is often a personal exploration of contact; people + purpose. how do we make a more meaningful connection? CK draws that connection, she just gets there. she gets right there.

CK’s work is truly beautiful and it never-fails to make me see my own ideas more clearly, she is a teacher/maker/friend

I would love to own anything she ever makes 🙂

These are beautiful, I love the way the lines in the individual pieces seem to link all three together – very intriguing…Where can we see more?
