Gretchen Wagoner is a NYC-based artist originally from the Midwest. The frequent subjects of her recent work are ropes and knots and butterflies, juxtaposing symbols of strength and ephemera. I enjoy the precision and detail in Gretchen’s work, as well as the significant role of negative space. Her work is delicate yet deliberate. Gretchen’s work is available through Etsy, Nahcotta and Beholder.
